TTRA Canada’s 2010 Conference • Quebec City, Quebec

Research on the Road to Recovery

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION NOW CLOSED

The Conference Program Committee invites submissions relating to the Conference sub-themes.  The Committee will also consider submissions on other topics which relate generally to the Conference Theme, Research on the Road to Recovery.

  • Understanding traveler behaviour patterns post-recession.
  • Research efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Market innovations and new opportunities ahead.

Presentations, professional development workshops and presenter-organized panel submissions must include a brief statement on how the presentation(s) or workshop topic relates to the conference theme or addresses a research need. All submissions must include a short description (approx. 300-500 words) of the presentation(s) or professional development opportunity and brief (5-line) biography of the author(s).  The submission must also indicate which presentation format (workshop, organized panel, or concurrent session) is preferred, and the length of time requested.  Workshops and organized panels are to be between 60 and 90 minutes in length, while a concurrent session presentation is to be between 15 and 45 minutes in length.

Refereed and non-refereed academic paper submissions must include a three- to five-page abstract, single-spaced, and comprise: Title, Introduction, Literature, Method, Results and Conclusion. Please include references and a brief five-line biography of the author(s). The submission must indicate whether the paper is to be a non-refereed (for presentation only) or refereed paper (option of abstract or full paper for the Proceedings if accepted). It must also note how the topic contributes to the theme of the Conference.  Length of presentations will typically be 15 minutes.  Longer sessions will be considered to accommodate the proposal of organized panels or workshop sessions, which should reflect the work of more than one contributor.
