Frequently Asked Questions

MEMBERSHIP

When does my membership expire, and when and how do I renew it?

TTRA memberships have two possible expiry dates – June 30 and December 31.  All membership transactions are handled by TTRA International, so to find out details about your membership status, or to renew your membership, contact admin@ttra.com or phone (248) 708-8872.

What are the connections between TTRA-International, TTRA-Canada and the other TTRA Chapters?

TTRA-Canada is one of seven chapters of the International Travel & Tourism Research Association.  Everyone who joins TTRA becomes a member of the International Association, and selects which chapter, reflective of geography, they belong to.

If I want to go to a TTRA conference in the USA, or to another chapter, do I have to get a different membership?

Everyone who joins the Association is a member of TTRA International, so you do not need a different membership to attend.

My business would like to have some visibility.  What are the options?

Through the annual conference, silent auction, awards program and quarterly member newsletter, the Canadian Chapter of TTRA offers potential partners many opportunities for profile and visibility.  For more information, contact info@ttracanada.ca.

How do I access the list of TTRA Canada members?

Due to privacy laws, only members have access to member lists in Canada.  Members can access the list through the Members Only section of the TTRA-Canada website.  Lists of all TTRA members are available by request or purchase from TTRA International.

Where can I get my member username and password (or lost password)?

Your membership password and your login information for the TTRA-Canada website are separate.  You can get your member username and password by clicking on the “forgot password link” on the homepage.
